What is a Hollywood smile?

It is the process of covering the front side of the teeth with very thin crusts, to support and strengthen the beauty of the teeth. The peels used in NOVA are extremely resistant to permanent stains from coffee, tea, or even cigarette smoke. This method ensures that the smile is improved, bright and dazzling, and is an effective alternative to some painful dental procedures.

At NOVA, we use three types of high-quality veneer:

  • Zirconia Veneers: They are often ideal for patients with severely damaged or decayed teeth. These restorations can be stronger than traditional porcelain Veneers and offer some structural reinforcement to the compromised tooth. Due to the material’s extreme durability, Nova experts commonly use Zirconia to create dental crowns and dental implant restorations.
  • Porcelain Veneers: Porcelain veneers are composed of a durable, high-quality ceramic that can be matched with the shade of your surrounding teeth for a seamless, natural look. This common cosmetic dentistry procedure uses veneers that can be individually customized for your teeth to achieve the best possible fit, as well as a beautiful appearance. The hand-layered porcelain has a dynamic quality that catches the light, just like the enamel of a natural tooth. Porcelain veneers are often considered as a minimal-prep procedure, preserving most of your existing teeth structure while achieving long-lasting smile rejuvenation. 
  • Lumineers: A specific brand of porcelain veneers called Lumineers can dramatically improve the appearance of your smile with a treatment that enhances your comfort and minimizes the time of the procedure. Depending on your unique needs, the Lumineers procedure is an extremely conservative restoration treatment that requires either minimal tooth preparation or no tooth preparation at all.

 

How do we take care of a Hollywood smile?

After the final composition of the peels is completed, NOVA experts give you advice on its care. Such as staying away from specific activities that can lead to fractures or disengagement. Such as biting solid foods, or participating in some contact sports. Taking care of a Hollywood smile requires regular daily dental hygiene. Our experts also prefer to visit the dentist for regular checkups.

What are dental implants?

The fall of one of the teeth leads to the emergence of a space behind it, which leads to the movement of the remaining teeth gradually, and thus the entire tooth is damaged, which is difficult to correct later.

In order for the dentist to install a replacement tooth or bridge in that area. At NOVA, we (surgically) place high-quality titanium implants in the jawbone, just below the gum line. Dental implants also benefit general oral health.

Who can have dental implants?

Dental implants can be done for anyone who has missing teeth and is healthy enough to undergo dental implants. Also, the patient nominated for implants must have healthy gums, and an adequate amount of bone to hold the implants.

How are dental implants performed?

First, the tooth root implant (a small abutment made of high-quality titanium) is placed in the bone cavity of the missing tooth.

  • When the jawbone heals, it begins to grow around the implanted metal stent, securing it firmly in the jaw. Recovery can take 6 to 12 weeks.
  • Once the implant is attached to the jawbone, a small shaft is attached to the implant, to securely hold the new tooth.

• The dentist takes molds from the teeth, and creates a model of the jaw bite, in order to build the new teeth, on this model.

  • The replacement tooth, called a crown, is attached to the abutment.

• The NOVA dentist matches the color of the new teeth with the natural teeth.
